It has developed an imposing personality with strong. concentrated aromas and bouquet. Because Il Vescovo. like all great wines. is not afraid of space or time. with every sip. he provides us with a taste to remember.

Il Vescovo is our award winning flagship red wine that was presented with 2 stars of excellence at the London 2015 Bellavita awards. Our limited edition Il Vescovo Black Label is something even more special. It is a blend of our Cabernet Sauvignon. Malbec and Carménère (IGT) grapes. It is a smooth. unique and elegant blend that is rich and full-bodied. An incredibly generously balanced red wine.

Winemaking: The grapes which are hand cut. are vinified with a temperature-controlled fermentation. They undergo a long maceration period so the silky. sublime tannins. colour and aromas can be developed. We age this robust. limited edition wine in steel barrels for 12 months so the flavour can develop. The black label Il Vescovo is then placed in our cellar where it is left to mature for a further 7 years in the bottle.

Top Tips:

• Our Terre Di San Vito wines can be opened as if there were no wax at all. Simply insert the corkscrew straight through the wax and pull out the cork normally.
• On a hot day. our red wine can be served slightly chilled. Best chilled for 20 minutes before serving to enhance the flavour.
